Subsequently, students will master the arguments and concepts that will allow them to understand and evaluate the main moral-theological currents in the history of the Church, delving into the knowledge of the fundamental themes of Christian moral theology as illustrated in Sacred Scripture and the Magisterium.Īll this knowledge constitutes a source of value on which to base behavioral attitudes proper to being a Christian, indicating the elements that interact in the moral conduct of Christians, in order to establish the correct, orderly and reasoned ideas most important to fundamental moral theology.Īnother aspect on which students will work is the development of their ability to theologically argue in various human spheres the meaning and moral dimension of human sexuality, the value of human life or the search for the common good. The concept of nature, the object and sources of moral theology will also be studied. They will be able to dialogue from grace with contemporary anthropological visions and debate in an argumentative way on contemporary immanentism and the doctrine of grace. Over the course of this complete Postgraduate Diploma, students will systematically enter into the theology of grace, from its foundation in Sacred Scripture and the tradition of the Church to the recognition of grace as an interaction between humans and God.
